From the age of 13 David witnessed in himself what empowerment felt like, and in the same moment wondered what it would be like if everyone could feel that way.

Fast forward to 2023 and David has used that passion to build two companies (rebuilt a third) at the intersection of healthcare, tech, and personal empowerment. His first company EyeNetra came out of MIT and has since helped over 10 million people in 140 countries access eye care. His second company Somoloco has helped hundreds of people seeking wellness through an immersive dance experience in Medellin Colombia. He led the restart of SchoolCare which has helped millions of schoolchildren access preventative healthcare through coordinating care between school nurses offices, parents and their health plans.

A self proclaimed “creator”, David loves making things, sometimes with a purpose and sometimes just for the hell of it.

He started CYA to help others, ie helping remove fear that limits us from living whole, enlivened lives, while having fun with building a cheeky brand.
